Baldur’s Gate 3 tops Steam Deck’s list of most played games for August 2023, beating Elden Ring and Stardew Valley.
When Baldur’s Gate 3 first came out, concerns abounded about how well a game this large would perform on a portable platform like the Steam Deck. Now that it has been officially verified on the mobile, this Dungeons & Dragons-based RPG has supplanted Elden Ring as the most-played title on the Steam Deck in August 2023.
Since its release on PC only one month ago, Baldur’s Gate 3 has maintained its tremendous popularity. A notable milestone of almost 1 million concurrent gamers on Steam was reached by the most recent Baldur’s Gate game, which Larian Studios created. It now resides on the Steam Deck with pride as the current champion.
The ranking, determined by playing time, was announced on the official Steam Deck Twitter page. Although including this D&D RPG on the list was anticipated, attaining the top slot before some of the best Steam Deck titles is impressive.
